It has been MONTHS since I last wrote an entry.

And it has been YEARS since Spurs win against Man United.

23 years of waiting, for a win at Old Trafford is phenomenal.

Good 1st half performance, and better defending in the 2nd half is enough to end the wait.

Well done Boas and co.

The new recruit, especially Dembele and Jan have have what it takes to take Spurs higher. Sandro 'killed' each of the opponents who got into spurs' half and Dembele will plot the attack. As a team, they are superb.

Assalamualaikum

This is a bit lame 

because its already May

but i still

want to share last year SPM result. 

The percentage increases yet again !

25% 

It looks like whatever I've done has been paid.

I'm suppose to be happy but....

I feel frustrated, and I meant it 

It almost brought me into tears

when I realized that English just made 

some of the students' result look 

'disgusting'

Some of them got 6A's but G in English

and

Two of my best students could only get C+

I feel sorry for them

and at one point I thought I'm guilty 

for those terrible results

But my mentor

A Guru Cemerlang

calm me down

he said

He knows the students

He knows what they're capable of

and what I achieve is something I should be proud of

because my students are too weak

I did realize they're weak

but i felt sorry for them 

because they work very hard  during classes

Later that night i received 

a message from my former student

on behalf of her classmates

apologizing...

Dear students,

NO need to apologize

I've seen your efforts 

I'm satisfied with all of those hard works you put in 

I appreciated all of those time we had in 2011

Harder & harder

 Assalamualaikum.. 

Apa khabar orang kampung? 

Da lama beta tak mengarang...

Life has gone beyond what I've expected. This year, I took another huge step to gain as much experience as I could to succeed as a teacher. Currently, I could hardly find a space for us (teachers) to relax. Last year is much more like a honeymoon. I arrived at the school in the end of June. That means, less job to do compared to what i had this year. 

Life start early in 6 a.m and could barely end at 4 or 5 p.m. Urghh! AND after the school session we normally have curricular activities as scheduled, from 2 to 5 p.m. During the night we spend our time writing the LP and preparing materials for tomorrow classes.

Sometime I felt unappreciated. I'm not special, I have no secret ingredients, not even magic to turn those kids into a 'super clever human'. But I do posses the guts to do what it takes to bring them into the highest level and pass the exam. Yes, PASS. Seem unambitious isnt it? But that is how you do it, be realistic. The students here are not like those who I used to teach in Subang.

Last year PMR result has rise for almost 30% compared to the previous year. The 2011 batch has set a new school record. I owe all of my former form 3 students, a lot . And all the credit goes to the previous teachers who are not a TESL graduate themselves. Especially Cikgu Khairul and Cikgu Adilah. Their courage has shown that everything is possible.

Not forgotten to the students who never feels tired and bored for what I've taught them in class. Lots of them could hardly understand English, but their willingness to learn is much appreciated. They never take the my lesson for granted. Kelas malam until 11 is a success. Well done students! MASSIVE task ahead for me to keep up with the current achievement.

I hope, in the end of March we will get another good news. The SPM, Insyaallah.

Fishing??

Assalamualaikum..

I have a new favourite series dude. Guess what it is? 

Introducing...

I'm addicted. Now this series has run to it's 2nd season. I thought fishing means to catch fish but those Cajun & Houma have different idea. Fishing means hooking & shooting alligators. They do it for living.

These guys practice gator hunting for hundred of years. They inherited the skills from their ancestors. They are hunter, but they will be in the swamp for 30 days in a year to hunt gators! I love to watch the series because of this man..

Troy Landry. He is a living legend. No other hunters in the series entertain me like he did. He is a cheerful guy. He likes to make jokes with Liz and Jacob. Some of his famous quotes are:

 "Yea yea yea"

"A tree shaker! A tree shaker!"

"That's a big one"

" That's what I'm talking about"

And this is my all time favourite

"Choot 'em! Choot 'em!"

These guys are awesome. That includes Clint, Liz, Bruce Mitchell, Nick, Joe, Tommy, the Junior's, the Paul's and Terral. I'm amazed. I'm not the only one though..

P/s: Did you realize Troy has a different accent? He says "choot" rather than "shoot".  Satu benda lagi, show ni ignatkan kita betapa susahnya nak cari duit. Kalau malas belajar,kena la rajin kerja. Macam depa kat atas ni. Tak berpelajaran rasanya, tapi sanggup ambil apa saja peluang untuk bagi anak bini makan. Bukan takat boya, ulaq pon jadi. Bersyukurlah dengan apa yang anda ada sekarang.
